  • Topics Covered:

    • Upcycling: Create art and functional items from recycled materials including items out in nature

    • Textile Arts: Introduction to basic sewing, knitting, and weaving.

    • Clay & Sculpture: Learn sculpting techniques using clay or other materials like salt dough.

    • Paper Crafting: Explore origami, paper mache, and paper recycling.

    • Woodworking Basics: Simple, safe projects like building small birdhouses or planters.

    • Drawing & Painting: Exploration of different mediums including pencil, charcoal, watercolor, and acrylics.

    • Sculpture & 3D Art: Learning to create three-dimensional art using clay, wire, and found objects.

    • Photography & Visual Storytelling: Introduction to photography basics and creative storytelling through images.

    • Mixed Media Projects: Combining various art materials (paint, paper, fabric) to create dynamic works of art.

    • Beaded Bracelets and Necklaces: Create jewelry using beads, string, and clasps.

    • Nature Journaling: Draw and label different plants or animals found outdoors.

    • Clay or Playdough: Mold figurines, bowls, or abstract sculptures.

    • Paper Mâché: Create masks, animals, or even larger sculptures.

    • Wire Sculptures: Twist and bend wire to form shapes or figures.
